TO SEE HOW THEIR FRIENDS ARE DOING
THE SOLUTION

Mood Wheel
A rotating visualization that uses LLM-powered emotion tagging to show the collective mood of you and your friends.
Journal
A secure, FaceID-protected space with random prompts, letting users log timestamped, searchable entries to track emotions over time.
Emotion Detection on Post
Each 3-word post is analyzed by the LLM to generate a unique emotion label.
Fusion
Pick three posts to match the day’s target emotion and get scored by our ML model, and compete on a leaderboard with friends.
TAKEAWAYS
Design Developer Handoff
I prioritized clear documentation and close collaboration with the designers and developers to ensure a smooth handoff and accurate implementation of features.
Designing with AI
I learned how to work with AI in a way that enhances the experience while preserving a sense of authenticity for users.
Emotional Design
I explored how to make intangible concepts like emotion visible and intuitive through motion, color, and interaction design.
Full Design Process
If you want to see the full research & design process that went into creating this experience, please reach out to me! I typically discuss this in detail in an interview environment or in a coffee chat.
